Castlemead
Estate in Camberwell was built in the 1960s and is made
up of 112 units, home to around 200 people. Work was
recently completed to repair the exterior of Castlemead.
This is part of Southwark Council’s £90m investment in
major works in the borough. New, double-glazed windows
will replace the old wooden frames to make the building
more efficient, safe and warm for winter and concrete
repairs to the exterior will give the building a new
lease of life.
